Our client was launching their first product with plans to launch more in the coming years.  The project developed and delivered a complete End to End Supply Chain to bring food grade and dietary supplement products to market.

Solution

  • Identified, evaluated, and recommended raw material, logistics and CMO suppliers necessary for the manufacturing of their products.

  • Supported the technical transfer of novel technology  products from R&D to third part suppliers

  • Developed and implemented of company specific Quality Management System, document management and conducted supplier audits.

  • Configured and implemented new cloud base ERP system to support planning, S&OP and Distribution and Logistics

  • eCommerce integration with ERP and support of Amazon channel.

  • Continued operation of their supply chain and the support of New Product Introduction and supplier network development and integration throughout the life t. cycle of this company

Compound supplier selected based upon quality and cost.  We achieved a 70% reduction in the Cost of Goods Sold (COGs) vs the initial objective

QMS deployed including 14 SOPs, trained all colleagues on SOPs and Food Safety regulations, qualified 7 suppliers and implemented document managements function.

Designed, tested and deployed a fully integrated ERP platform, SAP ByDesign, which is a cloud-based version of SAP.   SAP currently manages the client Supply Chain including with all the external suppliers, Order to Cash, Planning, Inventory, P&L Financial reporting and Master Data management.
