Endeavor has developed “iMES” - a flexible, robust, and configurable integration tool used specifically between SAP and MES systems, based on years of implementation learnings and global design requirements implementing this integration. The iMES solution embeds best practices, and can greatly accelerate implementations, reduce risk, total cost of ownership, and drive a strong sustainment model with limited defects moving forward. The tool includes an SAP application component with embedded middleware, but also works with any middleware solution. iMES leverages many of the same design principles that the SAP standard software uses for configuration, flexibility, and maintenance, to supplement the standard SAP package by utilizing standard SAP platform tools. iMES has been tested for all recent SAP version upgrades through SAP S/4 HANA (1709).
