Consumer Product Testing
Solution

Endeavor provided five experienced Project Managers to support the end-to-end needs of the program.

The Project Managers partnered with the client’s product development and marketing teams to become aligned on the new formulations.

With that in place, the Project Managers — who worked at the client site — acted as experienced influencers, guiding the various project teams to make optimal decisions within the committed timeframe. They were also able to consistently provide formal status reporting to upper management.

Benefit

By providing a team of experts who had deep familiarity with new product launches, re-siting of product manufacturing sites, compliance, and change and design control, Endeavor was able to rapidly accelerate the project.

Additionally, because Endeavor took the time to become familiar with the process and culture of the client, fostering strong relationships with the internal network beforehand, the learning curve was lessened. Overall, we were able to ensure the project was delivered on time, and on budget.

Problem
A global consumer products company had committed to reformulating any of their products containing a subset of a specific preservative  — this included Skin, Face, and Sunscreen products, as well as a medical device with an OTC solution.

The campaign was being implemented in parallel with other programs, from changing primary packaging suppliers and adding business continuity manufacturing sites, to right-sizing packaging to meet CA standards.

Key campaign elements included clinical, safety, and consumer testing, all of which needed to be performed in order to maintain their existing media and label claims. The project was managed through both the client’s formal product release process and the change control process when applicable. As such, the effort included heavy collaboration and cross-functional partnership.
